Step Up funding for Driving Lessons? Yes!

Great news for Florida families. Burgess Driving School has confirmed that as a vendor providing education services, the cost of our lesson packages are fully reimbursable through the Step Up for Students (SUS) scholarship program. If your family participates in this program and you have funds available, you are likely eligible for full reimbursement of your student’s behind-the-wheel driving lessons.

How Does It Work?

Parents who participate in Step Up for Students are eligible to submit Burgess Driving School invoices for reimbursement through the program. Here’s how it works:

1. Enroll in Our Driving Lessons – Sign up for our high-quality, 1-on-1 behind-the-wheel training program tailored to your student’s needs.

2. Pay for Your Lessons Up Front – Families are responsible for covering the cost of lessons at the time of enrollment.

3. Receive an SUS-Compliant Invoice – We will provide a detailed invoice that meets Step Up for Students’ reimbursement requirements.

4. Submit for Reimbursement – Parents submit the invoice to Step Up for Students for processing.

5. Get Reimbursed – When approved, Step Up for Students will reimburse the family for the cost of driver education lessons.

Important Note:

Burgess Driving School does not provide direct reimbursement. The responsibility for submitting for reimbursement lies with the family, and approval is determined solely by Step Up for Students. However, we will provide an SUS-compliant invoice that you can submit for reimbursement for the full cost of driver education.
